4 Now the word of the Lord came to me saying,
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Prayer Focus: This Sunday is Youth Sunday and Unity’s Middle School and High School Youth will be leading worship at both services. In preparation, we’ll look at two scripture texts from their summer trips, beginning with Jeremiah 1. Jeremiah was probably middle school age when the word of the Lord came to him, reminding him that he was fearfully and wonderfully made. He was known to God even before God formed him in the womb. That’s some good news that we are so precious and known by God, that we are known even before we were formed in the womb. Give thanks to God that God knows you inside and out – and give thanks for middle school youth who need to hear this message of grace.
