7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Prayer Focus: As we approach Stewardship Commitment Sunday this week, we will consider two scripture texts. The first is from 1 John and reminds us that stewardship is ultimately an act of love. God is love. Love is who God is. As God’s love has been poured into our lives, we share that love with ourselves and with others. Do not be stingy with your love. Love one another, because love is from God.
