Prayer Focus: Yesterday on Palm Sunday we entered Holy Week. The Unity Chancel Choir shared an incredible musical service of the Seven Last Words of Christ and we will continue to reflect on those words as we approach the cross and empty tomb this week. The first words we hear from the cross are not words directed to us. They are a window into the very heart of God. And what we hear are not new rules or guidelines or instructions. No, we are invited to remember that everything depends upon what God does for us. God himself hangs on a cross. God himself prays that we might be forgiven. Only God knows what God is doing.
