Friday, September 8: Scripture – Psalm 149:5
5 Let the faithful exult in glory;
let them sing for joy on their couches.
Prayer Focus: We usually think of lifting our voices in praise to the Lord as a part of community worship. Yet, the psalmist reminds us that even on our couches, in our homes, as we rest that we might sing for joy. It is always good to gather, but do not neglect to praise the Lord wherever you are today.
