33 So therefore, none of you can become my disciple if you do not give up all your possessions.
Prayer Focus: It is too bad that we are not in Stewardship season as this might be an appropriate text to use! None of you can become my disciple if you do not give up all your possessions. Every single one of them. Wow! That seems extreme as well. What is your most treasured possession? Would you give it up for Jesus? What is holding you back? Pray that you might identify what prevents you from picking up your cross today.
