Friday, March 17: Scripture – Psalm 37:14-17
14 The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to bring down the poor and needy, to kill those who walk uprightly;
15 their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
16 Better is a little that the righteous person has than the abundance of many wicked.
17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.
Prayer Focus: Better is a little that the righteous person has than the abundance of many wicked. Better is a little if you are living in the way of the Lord, than the abundance of one who obtains what they have by false or deceitful means. The Lord cares for you. The Lord upholds you. Our church is full of opportunities to grow and thrive in the year ahead. Carefully consider the pledge you intend to make. Even if your gift is little, it is a wonderful gift. But stretch as you are able because you trust the Lord to provide.
