6 I am the Lord, I have called you in righteousness, I have taken you by the hand and kept you; I have given you as a covenant to the people, a light to the nations,
7 to open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness.
Prayer Focus: The Lord speaks to the servant whom God has called. It appears that the servant is no longer a single individual, but perhaps is God’s people collectively. The servant has been given as a covenant to the people, a light to the nations, to open eyes and free prisoners. Where are you captive today? Where are you blind? Where do you need new light? Pray that you might receive the light and be free from all that binds you today. Can you work to help others receive the same gift?
