Prayer Focus: As Paul writes this letter, he is not aware of anyone else who has seen the risen Jesus after Christ appeared to Paul himself on the road to Damascus. For Paul, this eyewitness encounter with Jesus is important for establishing his own authority. But even more, Paul recognizes that as a former persecutor of followers of Jesus, he was a most unlikely person to become an apostle. Remember that Jesus can use everyone to share the good news – even you. Remember that everyone you meet today is someone that Jesus died for and was resurrected for.
