Friday, February 25: Scripture – Luke 9:29-31
29 And while he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became dazzling white.
30 Suddenly they saw two men, Moses and Elijah, talking to him.
31 They appeared in glory and were speaking of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.
Prayer Focus: While Jesus is praying, he is transfigured into glory. The appearance of his face changed and his clothes became dazzling white. He talks with Moses and Elijah about what he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. Even the great heroes of the Hebrew people know that Jesus is going to Jerusalem to accomplish the salvation of the world through his life, death, and resurrection. Remember that just eight days ago Jesus told his disciples that was what would happen to him. It is confirmed here on the mountain. Pray that you might have eyes to see and ears to hear what God seeks to reveal to you today.
