16 gather the people. Sanctify the congregation; assemble the aged; gather the children, even infants at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room, and the bride her canopy.
Prayer Focus: Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all just gather together at the sound of the trumpet? Assemble the young and the old, the bridegroom and the bride. Put everything on hold and just get together? We still can, but with more creativity and intention. We are participating in small discussion groups this year during Lent. How was your group this week? We gather online with new technology that brings us together in ways never possible before. Even as you grieve the ways we once met, give thanks for the many ways we do gather today!
