Prayer Focus: The Word of God was the agent of creation. When Jesus Christ was born and took on flesh to dwell among us, he kept on creating. Jesus’ life and ministry was proof that God is still active in the world. Creation continues to be transformed and God is present in that ongoing process. At Christmas, when we celebrate the birth of Christ, we celebrate that God is still creating. Look around you this week, at Christmas gatherings, outside, at work, wherever you are, and notice how God is still actively creating.
