Prayer Focus: Jaroslav Pelikan once wrote: “Tradition is the living faith of the dead, traditionalism is the dead faith of the living. And, I suppose I should add, it is traditionalism that gives tradition such a bad name.” When we abandon the present, life-giving commandments of God and cling instead to our traditions, our faith begins to die. Pray that you might have a faith and a tradition that is alive!
