Friday, April 29: Scripture – John 21:12-14
12 Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” Now none of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?” because they knew it was the Lord.
13 Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.
14 This was now the third time that Jesus appeared to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.
Prayer Focus: Come have breakfast. Who will you eat with today? The table of the Lord can be a place of new relationship and reconciliation. It is a place where everyone is welcome – even Peter who denied the Lord, even you. Pray that you might create a table of welcome and reconciliation. Pray for those who do not feel welcome at the Lord’s Table. Pray for those who are hungry and thirsty. Pray for an invitation to come and have breakfast together.
