Scripture – Acts 2:46- Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, 

Prayer Focus: When everyone has what they need around a table, where there is love shared between the people gathered there, the act of eating becomes more than just a meal.  Even more than the ritual of the Lord’s Supper, eating together can be a spiritual activity.  The table is a place where justice is done, where wounds can be healed, where no one is left hungry or thirsty.  Take some time today to think about the last time a meal felt like a spiritual experience for you.  Perhaps this week is a good time to experience that again if possible.  Pray that you might continue to encounter God again and again in the meals we share with one another.
