3 And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
Prayer Focus: Christ is pure. He is holy. We are not, but we are trying. All who have this hope seek to purify themselves. We seek each and every day to live more like Jesus. To become the people God has called and created us to be. We need God’s forgiveness to even begin this process. We need to remember that we are already beloved children of God. So we seek to purify ourselves out of grateful response, not out of guilt or an attempt to get God to love us more. Pray that you might know this good news and seek purity because you are beloved.
