5 Again you shall plant vineyards
on the mountains of Samaria;
the planters shall plant
and shall enjoy the fruit.
6 For there shall be a day when sentinels will call
in the hill country of Ephraim:
“Come, let us go up to Zion,
to the Lord our God.”
Prayer Focus: A few weeks ago in verses from the prophet Amos, we heard that due to the people’s injustice they would not live in homes they crafted and not enjoy the grapes and wine from the vineyard they planted. But the day is coming when vineyards will be planted again and those who plant shall enjoy the fruit. The day is coming when God’s people will hear a cry to come home. Pray that you might hear that call and live in hope today.
