9 No lion shall be there,
nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it;
they shall not be found there,
but the redeemed shall walk there.
Prayer Focus: Not only was traversing the desert difficult, but it was also dangerous due to the wild beasts one might encounter. So, Isaiah tells the people there will be no lions or ravenous beasts on this road. Only those who have been redeemed by the Lord, those who know the new life that God offers, those who seek to travel safely and securely with God. As you pray, put your trust in the Lord today to make a way for you. Pray that you and those you love might know safety. Pray for those who feel threatened, that they might know peace.
