4 How could we sing the Lord’s song
in a foreign land?
Prayer Focus: In the midst of theological crisis, the psalmist asks how could we sing the Lord’s song in a foreign land. The Lord was supposed to be present in the temple in Jerusalem. Songs of praise are intended to be sung there for that is where God lives. Is it even possible to sing the Lord’s songs beside a river in Babylon? Could God be present even in that place? Yesterday, our Honduras Mission Team departed for their mission trip. Is it possible to sing the Lord’s song while building cinder block homes in a Honduran village? Pray that you might wrestle with the presence of the Lord with you. Can you feel the Spirit wherever you are today?
