10 the twenty-four elders fall before the one who is seated on the throne and worship the one who lives forever and ever; they cast their crowns before the throne, singing,
11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they existed and were created.”
5:13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea and all that is in them, singing, “To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
Prayer Focus: The entire book of Revelation asks one big question…who do you worship? Do you worship what you can see and touch? Do you worship sources of power and wealth here on earth? In what or whom do you put our trust in? Revelation challenges us, if we are trying to be faithful witnesses to Jesus Christ, to declare our loyalty to God. When all others are seeking our attention and our praise, God is the only one worthy of praise. Pray today that all of us might live our faith out loud in a way that demonstrates our love and trust in God.
