Prayer Focus: This Sunday we will sing and consider the hymn, Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty. It has many references to chapter four of the book of Revelation. This book of the bible’s full name is the Revelation to John. John is writing from the island of Patmos where he has been exiled. Here, in chapter four, verse one, he is writing about the beginning of a series of visions he has had. The voice he hears is Jesus Christ, asking him to come and see what must take place. Pray today that we all might listen for Christ’s voice and follow when he asks us to come.
