Prayer Focus: Peter stands to address the crowd. He has been transformed from the one who denied Jesus three times into one who stands and speaks for the apostles. I assume that all are still able to hear and understand in their own language, for he seems to speak to everyone. He dismisses the concern about being drunk as it’s too early in the morning for that. I wonder if everyone laughed when he said that? Pray that you might see how humor can unite those with opposing views in difficult situations. Share your favorite joke with someone else today.
