Prayer Focus: This coming Sunday is the beginning of the season of Advent; a season in which we anticipate the Lord’s coming. So this week our devotions are the third parable Jesus tells in Matthew 25 to illustrate what we are called to do while we wait for the Lord’s return. Pray that you might lift up your head in anticipation of the Lord’s return. This is not a moment to be afraid. The one who is coming is the same one who gave his life for you on the cross.
