9 Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me, “Now I have put my words in your mouth.
Prayer Focus: Not only does the Lord promise presence as we move from the past into the future, but the Lord also transforms us for service. In Jeremiah’s case that is touching his mouth and literally giving him words. The Lord gives us words to tell God’s story and our stories. Even more, the Lord transforms our hearts and our lives so that we might live a story of faith, hope, love, and joy. Pray that you might be transformed today!
