Thursday, October 19: Scripture – Jeremiah 1:8
8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord.”
Prayer Focus: So often our fear of the new and unexpected prevents us from taking the first step. We would rather remain with the comfortable and the safe. One of the most common words from the Lord throughout scripture is “Do not be afraid.” Pray that you might not be afraid. Not because of your own skill, ability, or talents, but because the Lord is with us. Pray that you might embrace that assurance today – the Lord is with us. The Lord is with you. Trust that God’s presence in the past will continue in the future.
