Sunday, September 3: Scripture – Romans 12:21
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Prayer Focus: Paul’s final piece of advice is to overcome evil with good. Perhaps this is the final word because it sums up the entire chapter. As we live in this way of faithfulness, focused on the good of our neighbors and our enemies, we just might change the world. That’s what Jesus did. Pray that we might overcome evil with good today as well.
