Friday, August 18: Scripture – Luke 24:30-31
30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.
31 Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished from their sight
Prayer Focus: Sitting at dinner with them, the guest becomes the host. Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Just like he did at the last supper; just like he did at the feeding of the 5,000. In this moment of taking, blessing, breaking, and giving their eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus. Pray that at the tables where you eat today that your eyes will be opened and you will see Jesus!
