Saturday, July 22: Connect
“In the same way, though there are many of us, we are one body in Christ, and individually we belong to each other.” -Romans 12:5
Consider: We belong to each other….but we forget our belonging when we are far away from one another. We often find ourselves separated by geography, by our politics, or by our social media use. Whatever it is that puts distance between us, we are called to seek connection and relationship. We were not created to be alone. We are all one body in Christ.
Reflect: What does it mean to you to belong to one another? As the Church and as individuals, where do we struggle with disconnect? What are some ways we can connect with people we may not know?
Pray: God of all good gifts, you give us one another and hold us together as the body of Christ. Help us to live into our belonging and our connectedness. Amen.
