Tuesday, July 18: Curiosity
“It is the glory of God to hide something and the glory of kings to discover something.” -Proverbs 25:2
Consider: God is a mystery. Over time, God has revealed a lot to us about who God is, but much remains unknown as well. Part of faith is being curious. Our curiosity is what keeps us asking questions and learning more about who God is and who we are. Children are so good at being curious…ever had a toddler ask you why?…but somehow adults struggle to hold on to our curiosity.
Reflect: What would it look like to practice curiosity where we are today? What does it mean to have faith like a child? What are you curious about where you are this week?
Pray: Mysterious God, help us remember what it feels like to be curious again. And as we remember, may we have faith like children again. Amen.
