Sunday, April 23: Scripture – Acts 2:46-47
46 Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts,
47 praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.
Prayer Focus: Day by day. This is the Christian life. Not a one time or a mountaintop experience. It is day by day following Jesus. Give thanks for the opportunity to follow Jesus on this day. Give thanks for the opportunity to do so together as the church. On this day in which we recognize Jacob Saylor’s retirement, give thanks for the gifts he shared with us and pray that Jacob might know the blessings of the Lord each day that is to come.
