Saturday, April 22: Scripture – Acts 2:44-45
44 All who believed were together and had all things in common;
45 they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need.
Prayer Focus: They had all things in common. Possessions and goods were sold and distributed to all, as any had need. I am not sure that capitalists will find this picture of the early church to be good news. Still, I encourage you to ask, “How am I caring for those who find themselves in need?” Do you feel you have an obligation or an opportunity to work toward the common good of all? Pray that you might be part of providing for those who have needs today.
