Friday, February 24 : Scripture – Genesis 3:8
8 They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden at the time of the evening breeze, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
Prayer Focus: Not only do the man and the woman hide from each other with their fig leaf clothing, they now hide from God. Without the hiding part, it is a beautiful image as God comes to take an evening stroll through the garden to spend time with the man and woman that God has made. It is an intimate relationship of presence and care. But disobedience has turned this intimate walk together at the time of the evening breeze into hide and seek. Pray that, even with your open eyes, you might be vulnerable enough to be real and truthful with God today. No need to hide!
