Friday, February 17: Scripture – Psalm 2:8-9
8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage
and the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron
and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”
Prayer Focus: God tells the ruler to ask and God will provide, even the nations of the world as a heritage. Enemies will not be able to overcome the power of the Lord. If they were pottery they would be dashed. Pray that the Lord will help our leaders overcome the sin and evil that threatens us. Pray that the Lord will overcome all that prevents us from being truly children of God.
