Wednesday, February 15: Scripture – Psalm 2:4-6
4 He who sits in the heavens laughs;
the Lord has them in derision.
5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath
and terrify them in his fury, saying,
6 “I have set my king on Zion, my holy hill.”
Prayer Focus: Pray for the leaders of our city and our nation. Pray that they might understand themselves as agents of God’s plans and purposes in the world. Pray that they might act with justice and peace. Pray that they might care for all the people. Pray that you might be engaged in the world in the ways that join in working with the leaders, for the good of all.
