10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Prayer Focus: Today and tomorrow’s beatitudes are challenging ones for us to hear. Blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness. Not just persecuted in general or persecuted randomly but persecuted for the sake of righteousness. Standing up for what is right and true sometimes leads to confrontation with those who seek to hold onto their own power. Pray that you might have the courage and faith to walk in the way of righteousness, even if it leads to persecution.
