Thursday, January 19: Scripture – Acts 10:34-35
34 Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality,
35 but in every people anyone who fears him and practices righteousness is acceptable to him.
Prayer Focus: God shows no partiality. Salvation is open to all. That includes you and me. Thanks be to God! Yet, God showing no partiality is also a challenging idea because we also know a God who elects and choses particular individuals for particular things and ministries. Pray that within God’s abundant grace, you might know God’s particular call to you. Pray that you might extend the same welcome to others that God shows to you, knowing that God also calls forth particular gifts from everyone.
