18 He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything.
Prayer Focus: We hold elections, we have races, we anoint monarchs…yet above, and beyond, and before, any human being or power structure, is our Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks be to God that all of creation is not left to our human devices, instead, Christ the King reigns. Pray this week that we might strive to follow as Christ leads the way.
