14 We must no longer be children, tossed to and fro and blown about by every wind of doctrine by people’s trickery, by their craftiness in deceitful scheming;
Prayer Focus: The risk that Paul identifies in Ephesus is still present in the church today. Instead of holding fast to the one, we find ourselves tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine and deceitful scheming. Pray for a clarity of vision and commitment to unity today. Diversity is a gift for the church and the world, but trickery and deceitful scheming will destroy that unity. Pray for forbearance and truth telling today.
