Thursday, October 27: Scripture – Luke 19:5-6
5 When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.”
6 So he hurried down and was happy to welcome him.
Prayer Focus: Jesus looks up and sees Zacchaeus in the tree and tells him to come down, for he must stay at his house today. Remember our text on Monday, Jesus is passing through Jericho and does not intend to stop. But seeing Zacchaeus in the tree changes his plans. Pray for changes in plans today. Pray that you might welcome Jesus, even in the unexpected guest, as he desires to stay with you today.
