1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—from where will my help come?
2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Prayer Focus: Psalm 121 is a favorite of those who live in or who love the mountains. We lift up our eyes to the hills and ask from where will my help come? And yet the answer to this question is that help comes not from the hills, not from the idols or the shrines located in the “high places.” No, our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth, hills and valleys, and the plains in between. Pray that even if you love the mountains (as I do) that you might find your help in the Lord today.
