Wednesday August 10: Scripture – Hebrews 11:31
31 By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had received the spies in peace.
Prayer Focus: Rahab did not have all the answers. She had heard whispers and murmurings of this God, but she by no means knew exactly what this God was like. Rahab did not have a bible to read or Sunday school teachers to tell her the stories of God and Jesus Christ. And yet…and yet…she had faith. God was mostly still a mystery to Rahab, and yet she decided to believe in the promise of that mystery. Pray this week that you might have faith like Rahab, and that you might allow yourself to sit comfortably in the mystery of God.
