Wednesday, July 13: Scripture – Genesis 8:10-11
10 He waited another seven days, and again he sent out the dove from the ark,
11 and the dove came back to him in the evening, and there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf; so Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth.
Prayer Focus: Noah waits seven days, and then he sends out the dove from the ark again. This time the dove comes back in the evening with a freshly plucked olive leaf. The waters are subsiding, but the ark still floats on the waters. It is not yet time to leave the ark, although the dove has provided a sign that the day is approaching. Pray for the patience of Noah as he waits. Pray that the hope provided by the dove, by the Spirit, will sustain you during this time of waiting.
