16 “It is I, Jesus, who sent my angel to you with this testimony for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
Prayer Focus: The vision ends with Jesus claiming to be the author of the vision. These are some of the only words that Jesus actually speaks in the Revelation, but they are designed to demonstrate that it is trustworthy and true. Trust in the word of the Lord today. Trust that what Jesus speaks to you can be shared as your testimony for the churches.
