Friday, June 17: Scripture – John 16:8-11
8 And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment:
9 about sin, because they do not believe in me;
10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, and you will see me no longer;
11 about judgment, because the ruler of this world has been condemned.
Prayer Focus: The Advocate will bring truth that proves the world wrong. It can be hard to hold onto the truth when the world provides false understandings of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Pray that you might be empowered by the Spirit of truth. Pray that the Spirit, the Advocate, will come alongside you so that you might stand firm in the truth today. Pray that you might be an Advocate for one who is accused falsely.
