Saturday, June 11: Scripture – Ezekiel 37:11-13
11 Then he said to me, “Mortal, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are cut off completely.’
12 Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: I am going to open your graves, and bring you up from your graves, O my people; and I will bring you back to the land of Israel.
13 And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves, and bring you up from your graves, O my people.
Prayer Focus: The Lord hears the cries of God’s people. That has been a consistent theme since the text from Exodus we studied a month ago. The Lord hears the cries of God’s people. God promises to open their graves and bring them back to the land of Israel. This new life and restoration leads to faith – “You shall know that I am the Lord.” Pray that you might hear the cries of God’s people and that you might join those who are lifted from their graves today!
