Thursday, June 9: Scripture – Ezekiel 37:7-8
7 So I prophesied as I had been commanded; and as I prophesied, suddenly there was a noise, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone.
8 I looked, and there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them; but there was no breath in them.
Prayer Focus: The prophet prophesies. Did he expect anything to happen? Did he think the bones were too far gone? Did he have faith that God would accomplish what the prophet has been instructed to speak? The prophet speaks and something happens. The bones return to their bones and bodies of flesh and skin appear. It is the beginning of a miracle, but it is not fully accomplished yet. Pray that you might persist in the Word of God today. Pray that you will see signs that God is at work and wait for the full accomplishment of all that God intends to do.
