Wednesday, May 4: Scripture – Psalm 23:2-3a
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters;
3a he restores my soul.
Prayer Focus: The images are so full and rich in this psalm that it is hard to discuss them all, even in six days of devotions! But today, let’s think about still waters. Still waters can be stagnant or they can be full of life. But there is no threat that you might be washed away in them. Pray that the fountain of life in our own soul and spirit might be refreshed with still waters. Pray that all those who are thirsty might find it safe to drink.
