Thursday, February 3: Scripture – Isaiah 6:5
5 And I said: “Woe is me! I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; yet my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”
Prayer Focus: Isaiah’s response to this direct encounter with God is fear and a profound sense of unworthiness. Woe is me! I am lost! I am unclean, yet my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts! Do you feel unworthy of God’s love? Do you fear what the Lord thinks of you? While not denying that you are a sinner, pray that you might see yourself as loved and worthy. Pray that you might see everyone you meet today as loved and worthy. Because God has a job for you.
