Then we, your people, the flock of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise.
Prayer Focus: From generation to generation, we will recount the Lord’s praise. Tomorrow we will celebrate the holiday of Thanksgiving. What memories do you carry with you about Thanksgiving? What traditions do you just have to maintain? How are you passing those traditions and memories down to the generations that follow you? If we are to give thanks to God forever, we are going to need to train up a new generation who will one day take our place in offering thanks and praise to God. Pray for those who you are teaching about thanksgiving today.
