25 Thus says the Lord: Only if I had not established my covenant with day and night and the ordinances of heaven and earth,
26 would I reject the offspring of Jacob and of my servant David and not choose any of his descendants as rulers over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will restore their fortunes, and will have mercy upon them.
Prayer Focus: This is the final day in our summer series, “A Word of Hope.” I invite you to reflect on what you have learned and experienced this summer through these devotions and sermons. I pray this has not just been an interesting series about the people of Israel in their exile so many years ago. I pray that you have heard a word of hope for you in your life, in your displacement, today. As we conclude, pray that the Lord will have mercy upon you. For there is no greater hope.
