12 They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion, and they shall be radiant over the goodness of the Lord, over the grain, the wine, and the oil, and over the young of the flock and the herd; their life shall become like a watered garden, and they shall never languish again.
Prayer Focus: I am not much of a gardener. In fact, most things I try to plant and grow fail to survive. But I do appreciate the beauty of a lush garden that is carefully tended and cared for. Jeremiah tells those who the Lord regathers in Jerusalem that their life shall become like a watered garden. What a beautiful image that is – their life shall grow, flourish, bear fruit, and exhibit the beauty of God’s good creation. Is your life and your faith growing like a watered garden? Pray that your life and faith might not languish for the Lord is with you today.
